Danny has 17 years of extensive experience in marketing, communications and advertising. He joined Grey Group Hong Kong in December of 2005.
In the 5 years since he joined Grey Group Hong Kong, Danny has successfully brought to the agency not only high profiled creative reputation but also strong business momentum. In 2008, Grey Group Hong Kong was ranked the 2nd Hottest Creative Agency in Hong Kong by Campaign Brief Asia’s creative rankings. Under his leadership, Grey Group Hong Kong has won a vast number of blue-chip clients including the first Hong Kong-based global client, Hong Kong Tourism Board. Today, Grey Group Hong Kong is regarded one of the top creative agencies with over 130 staff providing integrated services to clients from traditional advertising, digital marketing, public relations and healthcare communications services.
Danny’s management responsibilities were expanded to the China market in January 2009, being appointed as CEO of Grey Group Hong Kong and Shanghai. During his first 12 months in China, Danny has significantly turned around the Grey Group Shanghai office through re-engineering the office operations and structures. This success is echoed through Grey Group Shanghai’s winnings of significant domestic clients and leaping from the 30th to 6th advertising agency perception rankings in Shanghai according to R3’s China Agency Scope 2010.
Prior to Grey, Danny was Assistant General Manager at BBDO Hong Kong where he enjoyed 7 successful years helping to build BBDO to be the most awarded creative agency in Hong Kong, he was one of the three executives BBDO selected across its global network to attend Omnicom University in 2005. In 2004, Danny was awarded the “Best Account / Business Development Person” in Asia by Media & Marketing Magazine.
Danny holds a Bachelor of Computer Science Degree from the University of New South Wales in Australia, a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program.
