01/16/2012 - - A little about myself, I'm Sam Sung (playing the name game with me was super easy – I wonder why…) and I'm originally from Los Angeles, Calif. I graduated from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with a major in political sciences, and went straight into the United States Marine Corps as a brand new 2nd lieutenant.
01/16/2012 - - Here I was, nearing 30, out of school for several years, happily married for four years, working at a nonprofit in San Francisco on programs I passionately believed in – no wonder people wondered why I decided to apply to business school.

01/16/2012 - - Lucky for me, I began business school in the heyday of Facebook, and a strategically timed "Kellogg Class of 2013" Facebook group that allowed first years to get here and hit the ground running.
01/16/2012 - - It is hard to imagine that more than one year ago, I was finalizing my Kellogg application for the Round 1 deadline.
09/19/2011 - - It is hard to believe that I am officially starting my 2nd year at Kellogg. It seems like yesterday that I walked the halls of Jacobs on the first day of CIM (Complete Immersion in Management) and marching into the OLC Auditorium chanting with my section.
09/15/2011 - - Six hundred Kellogg MBAs finished their first year of business school this past spring and went off into the workforce to start their summer internships. Some of them went into consulting. Others into banking and finance.
06/06/2011 - - 2010 was an interesting year. Most of us left high-paying banking and consulting jobs and finally decided to return to business school.
05/22/2011 - - At long last, spring quarter is finally here. For most of us, that's great news! But getting here hasn't necessarily been a piece of cake.
04/25/2011 - - This past spring break, 32 Kellogg students traveled to Kenya as part of the Global Immersion in Management (GIM) class and the Global Heath Initiative (GHI) at the Kellogg School of Management.
04/11/2011 - - After complete the winter quarter of my first year here at Kellogg, I embarked on a two-week journey to Southeast Asia with 29 of my classmates in the Global Initiatives in Management program (GIM) for spring break 2011.
02/07/2011 - - After months of attending recruiting events during the first quarter of school, interview season is finally in full swing here at Kellogg.
02/02/2011 - - As promised, I am dedicating this entry to the first Day At Kellogg weekend coming up February 10th-14th. But before I do that, I would like to take a moment and tell you about some new friends that I made since the beginning of the winter quarter.
01/14/2011 - - Just a few weeks ago, the fall term ended with final exams in our first quarter classes. But getting here wasn't necessarily a piece of cake.
01/04/2011 - - Three weeks of break have gone by in a flash. The Kellogg Ski Trip was epic. Just imagine 750+ Kellogg students taking over Aspen/Snowmass for a whole week.
12/06/2010 - - After I complete my four finals during the week of December 6th, I would have officially completed my first quarter of business school.
11/22/2010 - - Just a few weeks ago, I finally finished what was an incredibly grueling summer. Not only did I take classes with the rest of my JD-­‐MBA classmates, but I also worked full time at a law firm in downtown Chicago.

It was finally here. The trip for which I'd been planning virtually all summer, the trip that would kick off my MBA career – it was finally here.
11/16/2010 - - Hi! I am Megan Lyons, and I'm just starting my first year at Kellogg. It has sure been a whirlwind of activity and excitement, but I can already tell that I'm going to learn a ton, build long-lasting relationships, and have lots of fun over the next two years!
11/16/2010 - - I have just finished my first week of real classes for the fall quarter at Kellogg. Even though I already took a required core class during the pre-term (three hours everyday for two weeks), this week felt more official because I had a full load of 4 classes for the quarter.
